Overview

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world‑renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first‑ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim‑up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for cleaning, adjusting, performing water sample testing and conducting repairs to all water displays, pools and spas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.

Calculate figures, amounts and solve practical problems; interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift/move weights up to 75 lbs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School or trade school certificate required, plus 2‑3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) designation is recommended.

Knowledge of commercial aquatic design and construction; working knowledge of design, programming, reading and evaluation of computer testing apparatus.

Work Environment

Employee frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste or smell; lift/move up to 50 lbs; requires close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception.

Work environment is hectic, fast‑paced, crowded and noisy; exposure to second‑hand smoke, excessive noise and general public.

Must communicate effectively with guests in English.
