Lamar Advertising Company is hiring a full‑time, entry‑level Operations crew member to install and maintain billboards across Nashville and surrounding areas. This role requires working alone, managing your own schedule, and safely handling heavy equipment and tools on outdoor jobs up to 200 feet in height.

What You Can Expect From Us
A Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm work schedule.
An hourly range of $21–23 depending on experience.

A Day In The Life As an Installer, you’ll work alongside the Operations team to install and maintain billboards while prioritizing safety. Installation often involves handling large vinyl advertisements and assembling them onto the billboard structure. Maintenance includes tightening bolts, painting, repairing trim, and changing light bulbs. Bring the experience; we provide the equipment.
In This Role You'll Be Expected To
Remove and hang flexes or vinyls, prepare and install copies on Tri‑Visions.
Build and install extensions, cut brush/weeds, conduct storm damage and electrical repairs, and maintain a clean workshop area.
Use power/manual tools while adhering to safety regulations.
Attend installer and construction safety meetings as required.
Maintain operation vehicles and construction equipment.
Take completion photos for proof of performance.
What We're Looking For In You
Ability to work alone and manage your schedule.
Willingness to work at heights up to 100 feet.
Strong communication skills; fluent in English.
Ability to work with others.
Basic computer skills including Internet navigation and Microsoft Word & Excel.
Ability to work from ladders and carry tools to the worksite.
Working knowledge of electrical, fabrication, and construction techniques.
Skill in reading technical documents such as blueprints.
General knowledge of Lamar, DOT, and OSHA safety regulations.
Ability to safely use construction equipment.
Ability to climb heights and work at heights above ground safely.
Ability to document installations through photographs and logs.
Practical use of mathematics in construction tasks.
Ability to set priorities that reflect job responsibilities.
Education and Experience Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Completion of an OSHA 10‑hour Construction course is required.
CDL and non‑CDL licenses are a plus, but not required.
Previous experience working at heights up to 200 ft. preferred.
Construction and/or billboard installation experience is a plus.

The primary work environment is outdoors, requiring adverse weather tolerance and climbing to heights up to 200 ft.
Physical demands include heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds), extensive bending, reaching, and more.
