Where You’ll Work… This position is primarily based out of our West Milwaukee facility on Lincoln Avenue, our newest location featuring modern equipment and expanded production capabilities. You’ll occasionally support or train at our Canal Street headquarters, which houses our flagship Villa Palermo manufacturing facility, innovation center, and executive offices.
When You’ll Work… This is a first-shift position, typically scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Start times may vary slightly based on production schedules, so flexibility is appreciated.
What You’ll Do… As an Industrial Refrigeration Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring critical infrastructure and mechanical systems are running efficiently and safely. You’ll:
Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems in accordance with PSM/RMP/IIAR standards
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, pumps, valves, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related equipment
Monitor and maintain hot water, sprinkler, fire alarm, water treatment, and compressed air systems
Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance using CMMS
Respond to alarms and perform diagnostics to maintain uptime
Document inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs
Participate in PSM audits and maintain compliance records
Collaborate with safety and production teams to ensure system safety and performance
Train on and utilize schematics, blueprints, and system software

What You Bring…
3+ years of industrial HVAC and ammonia refrigeration experience
Knowledge of water systems, sprinkler systems, compressed air, and fire alarms
High School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or RETA/EPA certifications a plus)
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with PSM, OSHA, and GMP standards
Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics and perform refrigeration calculations
Comfort using CMMS and Microsoft Office tools
Willingness to work nights, weekends, or on-call as needed
