Narrow Web Flexographic Press Operator

Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: 1st Shift
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts)
Overtime: As needed
Work Location: On-site

Key Responsibilities
Print products according to job specifications, quality standards, and documented work instructions
Review and verify job ticket requirements (substrate, inks, plates, dies, anilox rolls, etc.)
Set up and operate narrow web flexographic presses, including:
Installing plates, dies, inks, anilox rolls, and substrates
Making adjustments to maintain print quality (registration, impression, ink laydown, die cutting)
Complete all startup checks, verify barcode scanability, and obtain start approval
Perform and document in-process inspections throughout production runs
Complete end‑of‑job verification to ensure finished products meet approved standards
Perform routine press cleaning, care, and general maintenance
Troubleshoot basic mechanical or print issues and elevate when necessary
Provide guidance to press assistants as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years of flexographic press operating experience (narrow web preferred)
Ability to independently set up, operate, and perform preventative maintenance on flexographic presses
Basic computer skills (email and basic word processing)
Basic leadership skills to direct press assistants
Strong basic math skills and ability to read measurements/rulers
Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules and work instructionsEnglish proficiency for safety and job requirements
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
Digital press experience
