Your Role
Hillis-Carnes Specialty Construction Group is actively seeking Geotechnical Drillers for our Woodbine, MD office. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of the geotechnical drill rig operations and drilling techniques. Need to be reliable, motivated, possess a positive attitude, and have a good work ethic. Experience with Hollow Stem Auger and Casing Advance Drilling, Mud Rotary Drilling, Split Spoon and Shelby Tube Sampling, and Rock Coring.
Requirements
High school diploma
Ability to meet additional pre-employment requirements.
Excellent organizational skills
Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable
Clean and maintain company-assigned vehicle, drill rig, and equipment
Work closely with site leadership to ensure that scope of work is being met within a timely schedule and in accordance with the safety standards
CDL class A or B is preferred but not required
Produce daily reports and boring logs
Successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company-provided training and mentoring
Benefits
Salary range is between $24 and $34/Hour and will be negotiated based on experience.
