Industrial Maintenance Technician – Great Benefits, up to $42.00/hr
Position Summary: We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join a state‑of‑the‑art baking facility in Oak Creek, WI. This role is essential in maintaining and repairing high‑speed production and packaging equipment to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on problem solver with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, who enjoys mentoring others and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records through the CMMS system and complete all work in compliance with OSHA and SQF standards.
Support root cause analyses (RCFA) to resolve recurring equipment issues.
Mentor and coach Maintenance Technicians and production staff, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably food production or packaging.
Proven expertise with mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, including PLCs, VFDs, motors, and gearboxes.
Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot AC/DC systems, and perform mechanical repairs.
Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) practices.
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of robotics and motion control systems.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Location & Employment Type Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Training: 2 weeks on 1st shift (extended by 1 week if necessary)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional weekends only if needed
Pay Range: $39.00 + shift premiums
Shift Premiums: +$1.50/hour (2nd shift), +$3.00/hour (3rd shift)
Hiring Bonus: $1,000, paid in $250 increments every three months on the last payroll of the month.
Annual Incentive: Up to 5% of base pay, based on performance (20% employee, 20% department, 60% company EBITDA).
Overtime: Limited; weekend work only in special cases.
