Restoration Warehouse Mechanic

As the front‑line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Restoration Warehouse Mechanic coordinates, monitors, and performs work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.

Manage the customer and client experience and overall satisfaction, tracked with online reviews.

Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities.

Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided.

Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects.

Communicate with restoration project manager and office staff on project progress and issues.

Work Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm with occasional extended hours in busier seasons.

Travel to jobsites and work on‑site when needed.

Maintain, repair, and inventory equipment.

Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse.

Additional Responsibilities

Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety.

Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.

Coach and train restoration technicians.

Work with a variety of specifications such as drawings, sketches, and technical documents and directives.

Undergo required physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, or crawling as needed.

Use own tools and toolbox.

Possess knowledge of dehumidifiers, heaters, fans, generators, mobile equipment vehicles, industrial forklifts, man lifts, sweepers, and wheel loaders.

Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems using schematics.

Position Requirements

Valid driver’s license.

High school diploma or GED (preferred).

At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction.

IICRC certification is a plus, not required.

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.

Ability to work with or around cleaning agents.
