Specimen Processor / Sample Processing Technician
Location: Tucson, AZ • Work Mode: Work From Office • Role: CDx BioSample Coordinator • Pay Scale: $39,520 – $62,400 (Dependent on Experience)
What You’ll Do
Receives and opens sample shipments and performs triaging of samples to respective testing locations.
Performs accessioning of samples and quality control of demographic data input. Communicates with clients on held and rejected samples.
Performs labeling of samples and quality control check of labeling.
Performs imaging of stained slides returned from Pathology, ensuring all deliverables are met within the required timeline.
Coordinates the execution of all internal and client requests, including global shipments of sample while maintaining accurate chain of custody.
What We Are Looking For
Biosample Assistant – high school diploma (entry level)
Biosample Coordinator – required high school diploma with 4 years of experience or BA degree
Strong understanding and knowledge of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance (PREFERRED)
Ability to work with computer software packages, including spreadsheets and word-processing (PREFERRED)
Preferred Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (PREFERRED)
