Role Overview Working on ISO Tank Containers by pressure testing tanks, draining and drying out the inside of the tank. Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets and gauges.
Position Responsibilities
Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
Drain tank and ensure it is dry.
Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
Lubricate and clean parts
Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
Use hand tools and power tools
Qualifications
Candidates will possess a mechanical background
Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
Detail oriented
Ability to wear a respirator, be comfortable with heights on top of tanks
Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks
