Qualifications
Prior Automotive Technician experience required
Prior Auto Dealership experience required
Valid Driver's license & clean driving record required
Prior Automotive Ford Lincoln Dealership experience preferred, but not required
ASE certification is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems include engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
Assist in providing accurate labor/time estimates for additional automotive repairs
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
