Responsibilities
Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot basic and complex fire sprinkler systems with limited or no supervision, including installation when possible.
Respond to emergency calls, often requiring nighttime, weekend, or on‑call overtime.
Coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance, and office personnel to execute daily workload.
Identify code and non‑conformance issues and recommend system installation improvements.
Complete troubleshooting and repairs to customer systems, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain an exceptional work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements
High school diploma required; industry experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout Maine.
Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with complex blueprints and national fire codes.
Thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and required tools.
Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet or more and in adverse weather conditions.
Physical capability to lift 50 pounds.
Experience with lift operations and OSHA guidelines.
NICET certification a plus.
