A global leader of high-quality folding cartons and literature for the pharmaceutical industry is in search of an experienced Electro Mechanic.

Responsibilities

Complete all assigned work in accordance with work orders and job plans set forth by the Production Manager.

Prepare and communicate shift reports with the Production Manager.

Ensure completion of assigned work orders, observations, and inspections.

Provide maintenance support for equipment and building, answering calls for repairs.

Participate in root cause analyses to eliminate sources of equipment failure.

Perform inventory of critical parts and supplies for maintenance operations.

Maintain overall safety, housekeeping, and shop cleanliness.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.

Use diagnostic techniques and test equipment to identify and fix problems with electromechanical systems and circuits.

Assemble, install, and wire electrical components, subassemblies, and machinery according to schematics and blueprints, including mounting electrical armoires and cabling on machines.

Test equipment and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and calibrate them as needed, running initial tests on machinery to ensure smooth operation.

Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, test results, and repairs performed.

Follow all safety procedures when working with machinery and hazardous materials.

Profile

Preferred experience with Heidelberg presses, Bobst Die Cutters, and Bobst folder/gluers.

Proven experience in maintenance of high‑speed manufacturing equipment.

Proven experience in facilities maintenance and electrical systems.

Experience using hand and electrical tools.

Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and dexterity.

Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This position offers an hourly pay range of $27 to $35, based on experience and qualifications.
