Assistant Press Operator 1 Starting Rate:
$23.47-$29.50 per hour for day shift with a 7% an hour shift differential for night shift. Additional Incentives: $100 Safety Shoe Reimbursement $100 Safety Glasses Reimbursement Company will provide all tools necessary Training provided Work Hours:
Days - 12hr Shifts 7p-7a 4on/4off Location:
We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This position is for the South Plant. As an Assistant Press Operator, you will: Assist Press Operator with press make-ready Operate and maintain web offset printing press Install plates and blankets Make necessary color or register adjustments Assist in replacing press rollers, using hand tools Work in a team environment and cross-train with others Receive training to help advance your career General knowledge of web offset press preferred. We will provide the job specific training you would need! Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently Ability to stand for the duration of your shift Qualifications: Ability to read and follow job specifications Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs Ability to read a micrometer Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge At Lakeside Book, we value craftsmanship and collaboration by encouraging employees to improve their skills and capabilities.
