Based upon our business growth and internal promotions, we are looking to hire machinists at our Warren, OH facility for our night shift.
Responsibilities
Form and shape material.
Operate lathes, drill presses, mills, routers, grinding machines, duplicating, and profile machines.
Work as a machinist, machine operator, or apprentice.
Use drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts, and to repair metal parts.
Apply basic knowledge of various metals and of measurements used in machining processes.
Maintain housekeeping of machine and work area.
Perform daily maintenance checks of machine.
Other work may be assigned at management’s discretion.
Education, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude required.
Valid driver’s license.
Crane/forklift training provided to obtain certification.
Proper use of safety equipment such as safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Proper use of tools such as inside and outside micrometers, depth micrometer, calipers, bore gauges, and other general hand tools.
