Job Summary Central Sterile & Reprocessing Tech (CSR Tech) responsible for cleaning all contaminated instruments and materials from Main OR, ASF, Labor and Delivery, Cath Lab, Hemodialysis and Emergency Room. This includes loading and operating washers, assembling instrument trays, operating autoclaves, maintaining quality standards, circulating case carts, and responding to unplanned requests 24/7.

$18.55 per hour
Responsibilities
Cleans contaminated instruments and trays using manufacturer-recommended techniques; maintains proper attire and safety standards.
Operates washers and autoclaves, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
Assembles, labels, and sterilizes instrument sets, including vendor and specialty sets from various services (orthopedic, neuro, cardiothoracic, general surgery, ENT, urology, gynecology, plastic surgery).
Responds to unexpected emergencies and after‑hour requests for items.
Maintains relationships with vendors for instrument sets and follows OSHA guidelines for body substance isolation.
Documents and circulates case carts upon receiving preference cards from surgical sites.
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent; able to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
Basic working knowledge of computers and ability to operate computerized equipment.
Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician or at least one year of experience in an EVS or Sterile Processing environment.
Certification required within two years of employment.
