McLane Ford of Fredericksburg is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing, family‑owned dealership in the heart of Texas Hill Country. We are looking for a motivated technician with a strong mechanical background who is Ford‑certified and ready to step into a stable, long‑term career.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership standards
Test‑drive vehicles and inspect components/systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning and more
Communicate findings clearly with the Service Advisor and provide time estimates for additional repairs
Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Ase Certification preferred
Ford Certification required
B‑Level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
Excellent hand‑eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to learn
Strong customer service skills and basic computer competency
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment
Willingness to learn new technologies, repair procedures, and specs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
