What You Will Do

Perform general and preventive maintenance on shop equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs

Interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications to solve problems and guide repair procedures

Disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble equipment; perform basic fabrication and assembly

Maintain facility systems such as heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical

Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs to keep operations running smoothly

Support equipment relocation, installation, and requisitioning of parts or supplies

Safely manage hazardous materials and follow lockout/tagout procedures

What Experience You Need

Two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications

Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Basic math skills

Initiative, sound judgment, and a safety-first mindset
