For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. This range applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. About the Role The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all production activities during the second shift, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates production activities during the assigned shift to meet production targets and deadlines.

Leads and motivates a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Monitors and evaluates production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides feedback to team members to foster professional development and growth.

Maintains accurate production records, including inventory levels, production output, and quality control metrics.

Identifies equipment maintenance needs and coordinates maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

Communicates effectively with management, peers, and subordinates to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production team.

Knowledge of Lean principles is a plus.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, business or related field required.

5+ years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment required.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Proven problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.

Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control principles.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Flexibility to work second shift hours as needed.

Physical Requirements & Abilities Position requires good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, visual acuity, spatial awareness, proficiency in using hand tools and equipment. This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged periods of standing, and occasional bending or squatting. Candidates should be able to comfortably perform physical tasks associated with the role, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
