Position Summary North American Construction Services executes engineering, fabrication, and construction in the industrial thermal processes domain, providing custom furnaces, retrofits, and full lifecycle service. Responsibilities
Weld, braze, solder, and cement joints to connect pipes and related components, ensuring structural integrity and leak‑free connections.
Install, align, and secure pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
Accurately measure, cut, and thread pipes, using cutting tools and machinery; interpret blueprints and layout plans to determine pipe configurations.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems, replacing or repairing damaged sections as necessary.
Qualifications
6G welding certification.
Up to 80 % travel requirement.
Ability to interpret and execute drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use mathematics to lay out angles, arcs, and circles.
Skill in any accepted trade methods (e.g., figure pipe joint, take‑outs, aligning pipes, valves, fittings, and joints for accurate match; install proper braces and supports to control movement, vibration, expansion, and contraction).
Ability to test systems and equipment after completion for proper circulation, flow, pressure, and leak‑free joints.
