Essential Functions
Install and service manual and automatic doors.
Maintain company-owned equipment.
Work in a team environment with other service team members.
Observe all safety rules and best practices.
Participate in on call rotation schedule for emergency service calls – involves 1 week per month with on call pay.
Other relative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma.
Low voltage electrical experience.
Current and valid US driver's license preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Willingness to learn and work well within a team environment.
Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level and other required tools for installation.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to work a flexible schedule when required to meet customer needs (nights, weekends, overnight).
Comfortable with heights such as working a ladder and/or aerial man-lift.
Solid organization, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Physical Demands This position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.
Work Environment This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.
