Job Description Wastewater Level C Operator understands most of the overall operations, can rebuild all pumps/equipment, and must hold a Level III WW License with at least two years of direct responsible charge experience. This role is an overnight shift and includes a $5,000 sign‑on bonus (approved only for licensed operators).
Duties / Activities
Assist in controlling the overall environmental compliance program for the water treatment system, including monitoring, reporting, and sampling required by federal, state, and local regulations.
Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
Operate the water treatment system, maintain the maintenance schedule, and respond to repairs.
Maintain compliance recordkeeping.
Perform process control laboratory work.
Education / Experience Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Science/Engineering from an accredited college/university or equivalent credit hours in a board‑approved curriculum.
Four years of acceptable operating experience in wastewater facilities of Class II or higher, with at least two years in a direct responsible charge position.
Level III WW license.
