Position Summary
The successful candidate will contribute to an all 24‑hour production environment. The day‑to‑day responsibilities include operating and monitoring production equipment, maintaining accurate paperwork, recording production data, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other safety protocols. $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production equipment by following standard operating procedures and GMP. Ensure all paperwork is accurate. Document and record production and quality information. Operate and troubleshoot state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing equipment and systems using automated and manual controls. Communicate any problems or concerns to management. Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining process data and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput. Operate and clean equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime. Communicate mechanical and operational issues. Operate equipment at recommended speeds. Monitor all products to ensure quality and efficiencies are met. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of machinery. Report any hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents. Actively participate in safety trainings and drills. Maintain cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents. Contribute to continuous improvement of all safety protocols. Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure own safety and that of others. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Minimum Qualifications
Manufacturing or production environment experience. Familiarity with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP). Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements. Preferred Qualifications
