Job Description Are you a skilled laborer with experience in underground utility work? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic? If so, we want you to join our team as a Skilled Laborer II - Underground Utility.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems such as water, sewer, and gas lines. Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and trenchers. Perform manual labor including digging trenches, laying pipe, and compacting soil. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in underground utility work. Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Willingness to travel from time to time if the project requires. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
