Hours and Location The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Grand Forks, ND hauling site.
Work Schedule Options
Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday
5:00 pm – 2:00 am or 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
2:00 pm – 10:30 pm or 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience.
A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
Be over 18 years of age.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Required to exert physical effort that includes frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing.
Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) often.
Required to be exposed to a physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often.
This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
