Job Overview This position is for a CDL driver and construction crew member responsible for transporting heavy machinery to job sites, operating drilling equipment, and performing heavy labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and working on ladders.

Key Responsibilities
Have a valid CDL license and pass a background check, drug test, and MVR report.
Dig trenches and run heavy construction equipment (e.g., Ditch Witch & Vermeer Directional Operators).
Move drilling equipment to construction sites, loading and unloading as needed.
Set up drilling and hoisting machinery, connecting drill pipe sections.
Operate underground facility location equipment to locate cables and drill heads.
Connect power cables or hoses for water or air supply.
Operate drilling machinery, regulating pressure, controlling speed of rotary tables and air flows.
Operate slush pumps to maintain circulation and consistency of drilling fluid/mud.
Correct problems in drilled holes caused by mechanical breakdowns or natural conditions.
Locate and recover lost or broken bits, casings, drill pipes, etc.
Maintain records of footage drilled, materials and tools used.
Report drilling information to the supervisor on site.
Ensure safety guidelines are enforced and weekly safety topics are followed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a trencher or other construction equipment.
Problem‑solving skills and excellent attention to detail for quality control.
Ability to work in many different settings and provide good customer service.
Maintain and ensure company safety procedures are followed.
Exposure to outside elements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and provide general assistance to other employees.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks such as kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, lifting and digging.
Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and test equipment.
Can drive a truck or van and operate a smart phone/computer for updates.
Ready to work aloft and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Education & Licenses/Certificates
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License and a safe driving record.
Language / Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability
Must be able to use written and verbal communications in English.
Physical Demands
Work aloft; use manual dexterity and hand tools.
Drive a truck or van; lift up to 50 lbs.
Type on a computer and update prints via smart phone.
Ability to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop, lift and dig.
Meet and maintain the company's safe weight policy.
