Job Description The Service Technician – SBE repairs and reconds equipment in the profit center and/or customer locations. Responsibilities include installing equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems, and providing customer assistance.
Job Responsibilities
Call customers to investigate operating difficulties of equipment.
Diagnose problems and determine corrective action.
Repair or adjust equipment to return it to working order.
Clean and maintain equipment on location, including exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers.
Document verification of closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification, and required customer documentation.
Maintain spare parts levels and accurately collect work completed in a company provided mobile device.
Maintain a positive working relationship and liaison with customers.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities, including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.
Maintain service area and vehicle in a clean and organized condition and follow company safety guidelines.
Complete weekly Driver Report and follow Fleet Manual guidelines.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Solid understanding of repairing small electrical appliances.
Willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources and add lines and drainage.
Willing to work with copper, braided, and PEX lines; skill developed through six months to one year experience or vocational training.
Ability to read and write English required.
Effective communication and customer service skills required.
Acceptable driving record and qualified driver’s license required.
Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, standing; may require uniforms and PPE.
