Machine Operator (TAE) - Aerospace - 3rd Shift
Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for setting up, utilizing, and operating assigned lathe, mill, and/or balance CNC machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts.
Starting pay of $21.00/hour, with a 22% shift differential for 3rd shift, bringing pay to $25.15.
Responsibilities
Perform set‑up, operation, and precise alignment of assigned lathe, mill, and balance machines to extremely close tolerances.
Accurately perform and document operations and inspections as stated in the Quality Manual.
Recognize deviations in proper machine performance; troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
Work from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products.
Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on assigned machines.
Work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume team environment.
Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe.
Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and safety‑oriented work.
Perform other duties as required based on assignment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in a manufacturing/production environment or running CNC machines is a plus; a can‑do attitude and thirst for learning is essential.
Knowledge of measuring equipment and good math skills; thorough and able to follow instructions carefully.
Creative mindset with a desire to understand the why first.
Team player with good interpersonal communication and organization skills; professional yet personable.
High level of integrity and desire to make a difference.
Position requires occasional lifting, carrying 25‑50 pounds or more and standing for extended periods; moderate physical activity with agility and manual dexterity.
