Responsibilities
Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
Multi‑point inspections and documenting vehicle conditions
Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
Driving vehicles safely while obeying all traffic laws
Picking up parts and supplies
Transporting customers as needed
Following all safety procedures and reporting concerns to the supervisor
Supporting team members with assigned tasks
Adhering to Sun Auto’s core values and company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
What You Bring
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Flexibility to work Saturdays, with Sundays off
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Exposure to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, and other materials
Variable temperatures with possible extreme heat or cold
Use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required
Stand up to eight hours per day, walk to various areas, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly
Lift up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 70 pounds frequently
Communicate with customers and shop personnel
Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and focus
