Job Summary As an Assembler, you will assemble all heater unit product codes and fabricate necessary components as required per work order, blueprint, and engineering specification.
Job Responsibilities
Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
Attaches breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
Hydro test per specification.
Paints product as necessary.
Installs and wires thermostats and other options.
Fabricates bussing, and solders connections.
Tests and adjusts electrical components.
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.
Qualifications Required Experience
One to three months related experience and/or training.
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Certified in the following ASME brazing procedures, BPS-B1, BPS-B2, BPS-B3, BPS-B4, BPS-B5.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Travel & Working Environment
Employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
