Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
Promote a safety-centered culture and ensure compliance within the workplace
Follow company policies, OSHA regulations and all applicable laws while following all company safe work processes
Support development and installation of new automation equipment process, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and resolving equipment performance issues
Support daily production operations
Prioritize multiple projects and equipment/line needs to support optimal product quality and volume levels
Collect and record accurate test and process data for use in problem analysis and product verification
Maintain manufacturing process and machine documentation
Utilize strong automation background and problem-solving skills to design, modify and debug existing and new equipment
Determine root cause of equipment problems and improve process performance
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, software and hydraulic systems
Maintain high efficiency and maintenance on our equipment such as electrical saw, CNC machines, cutting and compressing equipment, packaging machine, building facilities and others
Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure production systems, utilities, and grounds are always in good working condition
Provide assistance to team members when troubleshooting machines / system problems
Collaborate with team to utilize equipment and improve employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness
Implement corrective actions identified by production and maintenance team to maintain overall equipment effectiveness
Remain current with the latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical and electrical systems design and operation
Requirements for Maintenance Technician
At least three years of maintenance experience in manufacturing / industrial plants
Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical preferred
Experience in Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Mechanical or relevant field
Demonstrated technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical areas
Capable of troubleshooting machines or systems
Able to read drawings, prints and understand technical specifications
Experience in quoting / purchasing components and services
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
Effective problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer based applications
Excellent communication skills
Able to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Good organization, prioritization and attention to detail
