Job Summary
The Locksmith installs, repairs, and maintains locks, keys, and security systems across campus buildings. They play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff by managing key control systems, rekeying locks, and addressing security issues. This involves working with mechanical, electronic, and combination locks. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Responsibilities
Execute lock changes/rekeys a lock for new key assignment with specific door assignment. Maintain door locking systems to ensure safety and functionality. Assist with maintaining electronic locking systems of three different systems (KABA stand‑alone, Persona network, Salto lock). Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and lock system changes. Ensure adequate supplies and parts are available for locksmithing needs. Assist with moving office furniture and set‑ups for events on both campuses. Monitor the Work Order System for CGL to ensure adequate response to residents' requests and safety hazards. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor, such as coordinating vendors/contractors and submitting quotes/estimates for work needed on campus. Required Qualifications
Vocational or technical training or degree in locksmith or related field. 2 years of work as a journey-level locksmith. Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted. Valid Georgia Driver's License in good standing. Proposed Salary

Knowledge of Master Key system policies. Knowledge of Electronic Lock System (Persona Network System). Knowledge of Electronic Lock System (KABA Stand Alone System). Skilled in changing or duplicating keys and/or locks to fulfill specific requests. Skilled in reprogramming Persona locks. Skilled in reprogramming KABA locks. Ability to track lock changes/duplications. Ability to replace and repair Electronic Lock System (Persona). Ability to replace and repair Electronic Lock System (KABA).
