Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Helicopter Mechanic located in West Mifflin, PA. The Helicopter Mechanic will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on helicopter airframes and engines. Tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and avionics systems, performing modifications and upgrades, documenting maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. Collaboration with other team members to uphold safety and quality standards is essential.
Qualifications
Proven experience in helicopter airframe and engine maintenance and inspections
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing avionics and/or mechanical systems
Familiarity with FAA regulations and requisite compliance standards
Strong organizational and documentation skills for recordkeeping
Ability to interpret and utilize maintenance manuals, blueprints, and diagrams
Solid communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively
A&P Certification is recommended; additional certifications in avionics or specific aircraft types are a plus
Previous experience with OEM systems is highly desirable
