Laser/CNC Operator – Wayland 2nd Shift
We are hiring a 2nd shift Laser Operator at our Wayland Michigan location. This role offers a unique schedule: one week you work 3 days per week; the next week you work 4 days per week, giving you a 3‑day weekend every other week. Scheduled hours are 6 pm to 6 am.
Pay: Starting at $21 per hour plus a $1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift. You receive a $1,000 sign‑on bonus. Additional benefits include paid vacation upon hire and benefits after 30 days.

Responsibilities
Use hard gages and calipers to confirm part quality
Operate forklift and crane to load material into machine
Operate and troubleshoot machine parameters to ensure premium part quality
Perform daily preventative maintenance and set up multiple jobs per day
Utilize prints and work instructions to determine cutting specifications
Qualifications
Ability to understand work orders and follow instructions
Work independently with little direction (other than standard procedures)
Laser experience preferred, especially tube laser
Knowledge of tubular steel manufacturing and fabrication processes is a plus
Demonstrate dedication to achieving results and sustain high drive and energy
