Job Description The Aiken, SC location is looking for an Multi-Skilled Mechanicto join our dynamic team.

Ability to observe all safety rules and practices.

Preliminary function is to install, repair and maintain all plant, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control equipment.

Tests and checks electrical and instrumentation and mechanical equipment using simple or complex instruments as necessary.

Install, repair and maintain plant electrical in voltages up to and including 480 V

Performs a variety of electrical and instrument work in routine upkeep and repair of production equipment.

Inspects, replaces, repairs, installs and performs lubrication, preventative and diagnostic service of all plant equipment.

Instrument checks electrical circuits, equipment, etc, of all sizes.

Repairs and replaces motors, etc. Changes chains, sprockets.

Inspects, repairs, replaces, calibrates and installs instrumentation in connection with plant facilities.

Capable of the maintenance and installation of pneumatic, electrical and electromechanical instrumentation connected with this facility.

Must be able to perform mechanical work necessary to operations indicated above.

Must be able to work from blueprints, drawings or verbal orders.

Required to maintain good housekeeping in the area in which work is performed.

Performs other temporary duties as requested within the bounds of specification by supervisor.

Physical Requirements and Environment

Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.

Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator

Required Qualifications

High school diploma (or GED), and

Industrial Maintenance Technology Certificate, Electrical/Maintenance Certificate, or equivalent degree required with 3.0 GPA

One year manufacturing experience
