At Elanders Print & Packaging you will work with cutting-edge print finishing technology and play a key role in turning printed sheets into high-quality products. As a Machine Operator in Print Finishing / Bookbinder, you will set up, operate and monitor machines to ensure that books, brochures and packaging products are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Your Tasks
Industrial book production using perfect binders and book lines Operation of machines such as Müller Martini Vareo and Kolbus Setup and adjustment of binders based on job specifications Ongoing production and quality control Book cover manufacturing Operating thread sewing machines, folding machines and cutting systems Identifying and resolving quality issues Maintenance and servicing of equipment Supporting colleagues from other departments during peak times What makes you stand out
Several years of relevant experience in (print) production Ideally trained as a Print Finishing Technician (Bookbinder) or Machine and Plant Operator specialising in paper and post-press Skilled with your hands and good colour vision Quick learner, reliable, and able to work independently Flexible, committed and quality-driven Willingness to work shifts, including weekends if required A true team player with motivation and cost awareness Good written and spoken German Basic IT skills What you can look forward to
