Role Overview We are seeking a reliable
Service Technician I
to join our maintenance team at a 500+ unit community in Las Vegas. This is an entry-to-mid level role focused on
hands‑on property maintenance and resident service.
Service Technician I works under the direction of the Service Director and senior maintenance staff, performing day‑to‑day maintenance requests, preventive care, and make‑ready tasks.
This position is perfect for someone building their career in multifamily maintenance, with training opportunities and room to grow into advanced roles.
Key Responsibilities
Complete work orders and resident service requests promptly and professionally.
Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs under supervision.
Perform routine property upkeep including lighting, locks, painting, and grounds care.
Support make‑ready and turnover tasks such as unit cleaning, punch list items, and basic repairs.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance to keep building systems operating efficiently.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
Follow all OSHA and company safety standards.
Collaborate with the maintenance team and provide excellent customer service to residents.
Qualifications
1+ years of general maintenance, handyman, or multifamily property experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently on routine tasks while taking direction from supervisors.
Commitment to customer service and a resident‑first mindset.
Certifications (Helpful, but not required for hire)
EPA Certification
– Refrigerant handling.
CPO Certification
– Pool operations.
Education & Additional Credentials
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical or vocational training in a maintenance‑related field preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
