Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A., an AV-rated firm and Florida's largest litigation firm, is seeking a full-time, experienced Legal Assistant for its Pensacola office. Candidates must have at least 3 years of recent civil litigation experience. Insurance defense experience is preferred. A working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook are a must. Please note: this is an

in-office position

based in Pensacola, Florida.

Managing case files

Preparing correspondence, pleadings and discovery

Service and e-filling of pleadings and discovery

Scheduling depositions, mediations and hearings

Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, trials and conferences

Managing attorney calendar

Additional duties as required by Managing Attorney/Office Manager

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under the pressure of multiple deadlines.
