Job Title
Global SEC Paralegal
Location Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days offsite)
Pay Range $40-$55 per hour – based on experience and skill level
What’s the Job?
Coordinate, draft, proof, and file SEC filings such as Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8‑K, and other disclosure documents in EDGAR and Workiva platforms.
Support the preparation of registration statements (e.g., Form S-3, S-8) and annual Proxy Statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain disclosure controls, manage XBRL tagging, and track regulatory changes impacting reporting and governance policies.
Assist with corporate governance processes, including preparing board materials, resolutions, minutes, and supporting shareholder meeting logistics.
Manage global subsidiary records, statutory filings, and compliance deadlines across jurisdictions in collaboration with local counsel.
What’s Needed?
Paralegal qualification/certificate and 5–8+ years of experience in a legal department or law firm, with direct SEC filing experience.
Proven experience in U.S. securities reporting, SEC filings, and corporate governance support.
Strong understanding of EDGAR, Workiva, and XBRL tagging processes.
Experience with global entity management (multi-jurisdictional filings, statutory registers) and platforms like Diligent Entities
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
Detail-oriented mindset with sound judgment in handling sensitive and cross-border legal matters.
