We are The Ryan Law Group, a full-service Personal Injury law firm located in Manhattan Beach, CA. We are looking for a full-time Legal Assistant with 2+ years of experience working at a Personal Injury law firm to join our expanding team! Our office is located right at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful view of the beach right from our windows. The Strand and the sand are just a two-minute walk away and offer a great way to spend your lunch break! Responsibilities
As a Litigation Assistant at our Firm, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to): Provide administrative and legal support to two attorneys & two paralegals. Calendars hearings, trials, depositions, and appointments, in Casepeer (our Case Management software). Assist counsel in saving documents and organizing and maintaining case files. Complete electronic court filings at a state level. Correspond with clients in litigation as needed for case updates or to collect case information. Account for all outstanding and paid invoices before closing out files. Prepare checks, letters, and records costs in Casepeer when distributing checks. Qualifications
Requirements:
Must be able to commute to and work in-person at our office in Manhattan Beach Organized Able to multitask Good follow-up and follow-through with tasks Team player Education and/or Experience:
At least 2 years of Litigation Assistant experience at another law firm Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university Currently enrolled in law school or paralegal school, preferred but not required Compensation
