Your Working Environment The facility, located on the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley, opened in 2015 for the A320 family and added a second product line (A220) in 2019. It is a state‑of‑the‑art plant that strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry.

Your Challenges – Position Summary Responsible for completing electrical installations and connections, including basic aircraft installation, cabin, cockpit, cargo, and ground test work.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform tests and inspections—prepare and change programs, check system functions per work orders, inspect earth connections, perform continuity and ground tests, troubleshoot, document results in SAP.

Install and produce electrical components—collect, read, compare and set‑up per order.

Prepare components—mark, lay, connect, assemble, bundle, paint and solder parts, assemblies and sub‑assemblies as per work orders.

Adapt, torque, and secure components—including panels, PCBs, and sections; maintain documentation (e.g., PIR Book, outstanding work folio).

Sequence and perform work to achieve intended results.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications – Education and Training

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a technology certification program (post‑secondary or employer‑trained) with documentation.

Training provided by Airbus after recruitment: Health & Safety, General Aircraft Familiarization, and Quality.

Preferred:

Degree as electronic technician or 5 years of experience on test benches.

Experience

Required:

Minimum 2 years in Aviation Production or equivalent.

Preferred:

5 + years hands‑on experience in Aviation Production.

Physical and Other Requirements

Vision, hearing and speaking adequate for daily tasks and communication.

Operate electronic equipment, handle jigs, work on hydraulic lifts up to 40 ft., lift up to 55 lb (25 kg).

Perform tasks such as pushing/pulling, sitting, standing, walking, squatting/kneeling, confined‑space work, and occasional travel overseas and domestically.
