The purpose of the Gatehouse Attendant (Night) position is to monitor shipping/receiving access control for the security and safety of all personnel and to perform data entry and report distribution to ensure BEK operational efficiencies are met and maintained.

Responsibilities

Review all relevant logs and documentation to ensure daily activities are completed in a timely manner.

Communicate with all relevant personnel to fulfill duties accurately and efficiently.

Support appropriate security procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all BEK personnel.

Perform other duties as required by management to ensure operational standards are met and maintained.

Note: Normal work schedule for this position is 12:45PM - 9:15PM Monday through Friday. You must be able to work with schedule to be considered for the position.

Job Qualifications

3 months of work‑related experience required; or combination of education and experience

Food service industry experience preferred

Computer and data‑entry skills required; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions

Basic data entry (10‑key by touch) skills

Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications

Basic math skills, as well as ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)Ability to follow instructions

Self‑starter with ability to multi‑task

Ability to work in fast‑paced environment

Customer‑focused

Strong attention to detail

Good problem‑solving skills

High School graduate or equivalent
