Lexus of Winter Park is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to join our winning team. We offer a supportive environment where you can earn while you learn and continue developing your technical skills.
Job Purpose: To inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles powered by gasoline, electricity, or alternative fuels. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes and tire rotations, conducting multi‑point inspections, diagnosing issues, and supporting more complex repair processes.
Job Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive multi‑point inspections
Recommend services based on inspection findings
Inspect and top off fluid levels
Check tire pressure and replace tires as needed
Perform 4‑wheel alignments using Hunter equipment
Perform and execute fluid flushes
Complete pre‑delivery inspections on new vehicles
Replace oil filters, air filters, and other basic service components
Job Requirements
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Valid driver’s license
Prior experience as a Lube Technician required (minimum 1 year)
Minimum Tool Requirements Technicians must have access to the following tools:
½” Torque wrench
3/8” Torque wrench
½” Drive impact wrench
½” Drive coated impact sockets: 19mm & 21mm deep
Torque sticks: 80 ft/lbs & 100 ft/lbs
Wrenches: 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22
Sockets (3/8” drive, deep and shallow): 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19
3/8” Ratchet
3/8” Extensions: 3” & 6”
¼” Ratchet
¼” Drive deep sockets: 8, 10, 12, 14
Tread depth gauge
Tire pressure gauge
Brake pad thickness gauge
Tire air chuck
Valve stem core remover/installer
Brake disc micrometer
Assorted screwdrivers
Pliers & cutting pliers
Cordless drill/impact gun
Oil filter wrench
Toolbox or roll cart
