Full time, day shift position
Starts at $17.00 per hour
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
Duties / Responsibilities
Operate CNC saw for machine shop warehouse operations.
Kit/Bin material and deliver jobs to production as required.
Ensures material meets quality specifications (grade, size, etc)
Will be required to drive a forklift.
Offloads and stacks material in accordance with established procedures
Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
Performs other duties in saw department as assigned.
Skills and abilities:
Must successfully complete Forklift Driver certification process.
Ability to work in a safe manner and follow established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
Demonstrate ability to use and operate dangerous equipment
Punctual and reliable
Looks for ways to improve productivity and department results
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
Requires bending, squatting, reaching.
Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.
Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
