Position Opportunity The Manufacturing Associate IV – Lead will execute the daily manufacturing schedule communicated by the Manufacturing Management, lead the manufacturing staff on the floor, and lead operations and act as the main point of contact within the cleanroom.
How you will make an impact
Execute the daily manufacturing schedule communicated by the Manufacturing Management to include but not limited to cell expansion, bioreactor operations, and/or purification techniques (TFF and chromatography).
Lead operations and act as the main point of contact within the cleanroom.
Lead the manufacturing staff on the floor and make real‑time production decisions as required.
Read and understand technical documentation and execute written instruction.
Possess an advanced understanding and ability to put into practice cGMP principles.
Possess advanced operational skills, troubleshooting skills, and advanced knowledge within an aseptic environment, biological safety cabinet to execute such processes as cell expansion, cell banking, filling, filtration, and column chromatography.
Possess the ability to train junior‑level manufacturing associates.
Plan, organize, and maintain material inventory for manufacturing processes and ensure all materials are kitted for upcoming cleanroom operations.
Clearly communicate problems and observations with management from other departments.
Ensure cleanrooms are cleaned, organized, maintained, and audit‑ready at all times.
Maintain an individual training plan and ensure your training profile remains up‑to‑date with training readiness at all times.

AS/BS in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent
Preferred area of study: Science‑related discipline
High school diploma or equivalent may be considered
Experience
3–4 years of experience in manufacturing (minimum 4 years of experience without AS/BS)
GMP setting preferred
Previous upstream and/or downstream experience preferred
Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of aseptic practices and clean‑room operations
Advanced knowledge of the manufacturing process and ability to use the latest technologies
Advanced knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EMA regulatory requirements applicable to biologics—including gene/viral therapy products focusing on upstream/downstream operations
Skills
Proven logic and decision‑making abilities, critical thinking skills
Computer software skills, organization, record‑keeping and planning skills, multiple projects and time management
Qualities & Attitude
Leadership, diplomacy abilities
Strong communication ability in both written and oral formats
