Responsibilities
Operate high speed filling and packaging machines in a safe and productive manner.
Maintain inventory of components, including following Kan Ban procedures.
Maintain quality output.
Check quality of production throughout the run.
Confirm conformity with production orders.
Setup, change over, and clean up filling and packaging machines each day.
Maintain mobile equipment certification and use equipment properly.
Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices and procedures.
Follow all quality, housekeeping and inventory requirements.
Follow work rules, procedures and policies.
Ensure workspace and safe operation of assigned equipment, materials, items and tools.
Professionally represent the company.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
One year related manufacturing experience is a plus.
Able to perform basic math computations.
Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot machines and perform minor repairs when needed.
Ability to make mechanical adjustments to machines using basic hand tools.
