About This Opportunity
Location: PROSPER Azalea City, 1503 E Park Ave, Valdosta, GA 31602
Compensation: $20.00+ starting with bonus potential, depending on experience
Position type: Full‑time
Schedule: Flexible with varied work hours that may include weekends
What We Are Looking For In a Service Technician
HVAC certification – required
Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, lock replacement)
Ability to complete apartment turnovers within 5 days
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently
Familiarity with older and newer apartment buildings
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills; professionalism with residents, vendors, team members
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle (on‑call rotation)
Basic tools for HVAC and general maintenance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and basic property management operations (plus)
What You Will Do As a Service Technician
Provide exceptional service to residents, exceeding expectations and ensuring satisfaction
Address maintenance and service requests promptly and efficiently
Identify and resolve hazardous property conditions, ensuring safety
Prepare vacant apartments for move‑in within five days, including required repairs and replacements
Perform HVAC, painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs with focus on quality and efficiency
Maintain grounds and ensure cleanliness, enhancing overall appearance
Respond to emergency calls on‑call for timely assistance
Implement cost‑saving initiatives and manage budgets effectively
Respond to resident requests within 24 hours, demonstrating professionalism
Maintain well‑stocked maintenance shop and optimize inventory management
Perform technician and groundskeeper duties as needed, supporting team goals
Efficiently schedule vacancies for 5‑day turns, coordinating with team members
Assign service requests for 24‑hour turnaround, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance
