Job Title : Plumbing Mechanic
Department : Piping & Plumbing (MD)
Grade : High level Journeyman or Master Supervisor: Piping & Plumbing Superintendent
Salary : $33 - $38 per hour

Position Summary Directly responsible for and have complete knowledge of vent, hot & cold water, waste water, and underground piping including copper pipe soldering and brazing.
Job Requirements
Must have completed a four-year apprenticeship in specified field.
Journeyman's license.
Minimum two+ years of commercial plumbing installation experience as a plumber.
Experience with no-hub & PVC piping installation.
Essential Functions
Read plans to perform necessary work.
Perform layout.
Perform take-offs.
Maintain a complete set of tools.
Additional Responsibilities
Responsible for company assets used on the job site.
Hold a valid driver license.
Make purchases at local supply houses following Company procedure.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of tools and equipment needed to complete a job.
Able to run projects.
Complete familiarity with bathroom fixture installation.
Able to perform mathematical calculations.
Able to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
Able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions and approaches to problems.
Physical and Mental Job Requirements
Must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Spending long periods of time standing.
Ability to climb ladders to perform work.
Work in high elevations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Periodic travel to multiple job locations.
May be subjected to inclement weather and hazardous working conditions.
Work weekend or night-time duty, as needed.
