Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes on various materials.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during welding operations.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to designs.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Proven experience in welding various metals in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding and adherence to safety procedures and use of PPE.
Relevant welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with specialized welding techniques (e.g., TIG on exotic metals, orbital welding).
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a production environment.
Additional certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, specific material certifications).
