Principal Accountabilities
Monitor and upkeep all Ammonia Refrigeration systems. Perform shift audits of boilers, steam plant, and all steam end users. Test and treat boiler feed water; monitor RO and water softeners. Observe boiler, condensate, and feed water systems units to detect malfunctions; make adjustments and repairs as required. Maintain log of meter and gauge readings and records data such as water test results, quantity of fuel consumed, temperature and pressures. Assist with troubleshooting, analyzing and repair of electrical control systems. Willing and able to work a schedule covering 24/7/365; perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. 18 years or older. State Technical School apprenticeship and/or Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or accredited Industrial Refrigeration, Boiler Tech program or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of compressed air systems. Train and be certified in Hazmat Level A Entry. Dependable and can work flexible hours and/or shifts. Detail oriented. Team player, able to work well alone.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous production/maintenance/refrigeration experience. RETA or IIAR Certification. Electrical experience. Work history in the past 12 months.
