HVAC Mechanic

Responsible for the daily maintenance and repairs of all hotel heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as hot and cold-water systems, including but not limited to boilers, cooling towers, pumps and motors. Perform preventive maintenance assignments while keeping system downtime to a minimum. Provide our guests with first‑class services that promote return visits and build brand recognition.

Responsibilities
55% Conduct daily preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment; perform necessary repairs and track inventory.
20% Conduct equipment walk‑throughs, maintain organized logs, and submit reports.
15% Assist in developing and maintaining a refrigeration usage log.
10% Monitor scheduled events and program air handlers through the Energy Management System (EMS) with accurate operating parameters.
Supportive Functions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shops and mechanical areas.
Keep equipment in first‑class condition, replacing fasteners as needed.
Operate safely and orderly.
Track and maintain inventory levels.
Clean up after each task.
Report unsafe conditions promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local/state/federal regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent; technical training in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance.
Minimum of 4 years as an HVAC technician in hospitality or service industry.
Valid driver’s license.
Availability for flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Licenses/Certificates
EPA certification with at least Type II or better.
